State Ethics Commission
Violation Number One
Sale of the Old City Yards to Wood Waste of Boston.

In a Board of Aldermen's Meeting when told by the Board
that they felt that the Old City Yards should be put back on
the market to see if the City could get more money for the
property the Mayor took the side of Wood Waste of Boston
and stated on video "There is no way we could get more
money for the property" then he continued to talk and
convince the Board to allow the Sale to continue.

Wood Waste of Boston is now and always has been a
contributor to the Mayor's Campaign.

Wood Waste of Boston purchased the Property and resold it
making a 3.6 million dollar profit thanks to their relationship
with Mayor DeMaria.
Violation Number Two
Firing of Employees due to their assisting Federal and
State Investigations.

Mayor DeMaria has fired several employees over his first
term as Mayor and most of these terminations were directly
due to the employees involvement with Federal and State
Investigations.

Due to on going litigation the names of the employees are
not going to be named on this website.

The investigations into GTA Landscaping, direct violations of
State Procurement laws regarding vehicle purchases and
equipment purchases not to mention receiving campaign
contribution in his office at City Hall resulted in the
termination of several employees after they assisted the
authorities with information.
Violation Number Three
Mayor DeMaria using his position as Mayor of the City
of Everett to get his Brother a better position within
the MWRA.

This violation is one of the worst violations committed by
the Mayor in our opinion.

Keep in mind that the Mayor's email's are public information
and that the only Office that's email's are not is the
Emergency Services, and the Solicitiors Office.

On September 9, 2008 Mayor DeMaria emailed his brother
Carmine concerning his conversations with MWRA
supervisors concerning getting his brother a better position
within the MWRA
Mayor DeMaria has been distorting information since
he took office about Wood Waste of Boston and the
dealings within the City of Everett.

The State Ethics Commission when done with their
investigation will make sure he pays for what he calls
being Mayor of the City of Everett.
